International Rescue Committee
The details
I helped build the International Rescue Committee (IRC) site while at Kanopi. Throughout the few month build, I was the primary front end developer, working closely with the Tech Lead, Project Manager, and IRC team to deliver a pixel-perfect Drupal 10 site.
The team at Kanopi was given designs from the IRC team, where I was then tasked with assisting in architecting and estimating the necessary components and level of effort for the site, including custom menus, content types, and paragraphs prior to the beginning of Development.
I successfully built two custom main menus, each built with vanilla javascript with full functionality to open, close, click off, and scale to mobile. The first main menu was built as a mega menu for IRC to use on the primary site and replicated for use with the Groups module so each location could have their own exact replica main menu, unifying the user experience as they traversed the site. The second menu was designed for use on white label sites, utilizing the Domain module to create sub-domain sites to deliver a fresh skin while still following the distinct branding of the IRC.
